Back in March 2014 on Bitcointalk, one dev’s cat got tired of watching Dogecoin take all the attention.

“My cat name is mimi” — he said, and quickly changed the coin name to MIMI.

He posted the original announcement with the happy cat logo, added a bounty for cat pictures, and that was it.

Then silence… for 12 whole years.

The Logo seemingly dissapeared from existence, but it’s been discovered deep in the original Mimi GitHub from 2014.

The silence ends today.

Mimicoin is the real OG cat coin from the wild early altcoin days — now revived on Pump.fun for the culture.
